Urban Planning & Redevelopment

JWM Ventures, LLC is a minority owned and operated commercial real estate
development company focused on Urban Mixed-Use Redevelopment projects.

We are committed to the development of projects within disadvantaged urban
core communities in California and across the nation. Our goal is to provide
these urban communities with significant economic development that will help
transform the inner core of the built urban environment into a vibrant culturally-
rich community.

We Are Focused on Rebuilding Urban Core Communities

JWM Ventures has dedicated itself solely to the Urban Redevelopment
marketplace and concentrates exclusively within this market. We don’t just
redevelop a site, but create family-oriented communities, where residents take
pride in their neighborhood and enjoy the economic opportunities that follow.

We strive to make certain that the communities are a priority by making sure that
these communities are benefited first and foremost by economic developments.

JWM Ventures has built strategic alliances with leading national based firms
in the fields of project management, master planning, architectural design,
engineering, environmental services, construction, leasing and marketing
services, and property management.

JWM Ventures assumes a visible role in the service of rebuilding these
communities, but we are not able to do this alone. In union with residents and
business owners, we work together on a rapid rebuilding of the American inner
city.

Our Philosophy

Our focus is to establish strong corporate relationships with organizations
that provide assistance and aid to these communities. In California we are
aligned with organizations such as The Tom Bradley Legacy Foundation,
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and The
United Negro College Fund to aid in reviving the American Dream for these
communities. With various unions, we have established strong relationships to
rebuild and redevelop these communities.

Working in unison, we build physical development projects in these communities
that address unmet necessities, influence innovations and promote positive
change.

We fully understand that to be successful these projects must be inclusive of all
in order to create substantial job opportunities for various minorities, as well as
minority owned companies, before and after these projects have been built.

Who We Are

Over the last 20 years, John McDonald has been involved in the development
of multiple restaurant chains, medical office buildings, retail shopping centers,
commercial subdivisions, and hotels. Successes include working with the U.S.
Department of Interior, the Bureau of Land Management in California, and the
City of North Las Vegas (NLV) to facilitate a major land swap between Nevada
and California and the Coast Dairies in Santa Cruz, CA.
